Marik Design jewelry is designed and handcrafted by Mari Kummala, a Finnish native and resident of Florida for over two decades. After graduating with an economics degree, she worked in banking and government in Finland before moving to Miami in 2000 with her family.

 

In 2015, Mari completed her professional training as a silversmith and jewelry designer at the ArtCenter/South Florida in Miami. A lifelong passion for designing Nordic-inspired jewelry is evident in her innovative work, while the natural beauty and landscape of the Sunshine State continue to inspire her signature creations.

 

Mari strives to live up to her motto: "Happiness is a by-product of an effort to make someone else happy." Her goal is to make unique jewelry that will capture each customer’s heart. All Marik Design custom jewelry is entirely handmade from raw natural materials using various expert techniques.
